GFNA Conference Book Published 

The results of GFNA’s 1999 conference at Cambridge University, England, on the ways in which the years of socialist rule were affecting post-socialist transitions was published by Rowman and Littlefield in April 2002. Edited by David Lane, the book takes stock of the first decade of transition of the former Soviet bloc and how it has been influenced by the past. In addition to David Lane, who is a Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, the contributors include Greg Andrusz, Walter Connor, Linda Cook, Michael Cox, Stefanie Harter, Paul Lewis, Lynn Nelson, Cameron Ross, Louise Shelley, Ray Taras, and Stephen White.
