GFNA Senior Fellow Jorge Dominguez and Vice President Anthony Jones co-edit book
GFNA Senior Fellow Jorge Dominguez and Vice President Anthony Jones have co-edited a book on Constructing Democracy: Lessons from Practice and Research, to be published by Johns Hopkins University Press in 2007.
The book is unusual in that it combines the results of scholarly research with the experience of national leaders from key countries in South Asia, South America, and Western Europe. These leaders (including Fernando Enrique Cardoso, Cesar Gaviria, Inder Kumar Gujral, and Anibal Cavaco Silva), reflect broadly on the craft of politics, the construction and protection of democracy, and serving the needs of their fellow citizens.
