Organized by GFNA and Cambridge University, the meetings were held at King’s College under the sponsorship of the College’s Acting Provost, John Barber. David Lane, of Emmanuel College, Cambridge, organized the content and panels and was responsible for overseeing the revision of papers for publication under his editorship.
The papers from the conference were published in 2002 in both paper and cloth editions (David Lane, ed. The Legacy of State Socialism and the Future of Transformation. New York: Rowman and Littlefield, 2002. 247pp.)
